Terms of service

1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the bisaro.pt website and purchases made on it. By browsing the website and placing an order, the customer declares that they have read, understood and accepted these terms, as well as the Shipping Policy, the Return and Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy.

3. Products, weights and images
The products sold are artisanal food products made from Bísaro-breed pork. As they are artisanal products of variable weight, the weight indicated on each product page is approximate; for fresh meat products sold by package, the price corresponds to the approximate weight indicated, calculated from the price per kilogram. Product images are for illustration purposes and the actual appearance may vary slightly as these are artisanal products.
4. Orders
An order is considered complete after payment confirmation, and the customer receives a confirmation email with the corresponding summary. Bísaro reserves the right not to accept or to cancel orders in the event of a manifest pricing error, product unavailability or suspected fraud, in which case the customer will be informed and refunded any amount paid.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force. Shipping costs are shown at checkout, before payment. Payment is processed through the methods available at checkout, in a secure environment. Bísaro may update prices at any time, without affecting orders already confirmed.
6. Delivery
Delivery conditions, times and costs are set out in the Shipping Policy. Ownership of and risk in the goods transfer to the customer upon delivery.
7. Returns and warranty
The conditions for returns, refunds and the conformity guarantee are set out in the Return and Refund Policy. As these are perishable food goods, the legal exceptions to the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 17 of Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014 apply.
8. Liability
Bísaro is not liable for damage resulting from improper use or storage of the products after delivery, in particular from failure to follow the storage instructions on product pages and labels. Some products contain allergens, identified on the corresponding product page; if in doubt, contact us before ordering.
9. Intellectual property
All website content (texts, images, logos and trademarks) is the property of Bísaro - Salsicharia Tradicional or of third parties who have authorised its use, and may not be reproduced without prior written authorisation.
10. Dispute resolution
In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may turn to the territorially competent alternative consumer dispute resolution body, an up-to-date list of which is available on the Consumer Portal at www.consumidor.gov.pt. The Electronic Complaints Book is also available at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the customer's country of residence.
12. Changes
Bísaro may update these Terms of Service at any time, with effect from their publication on the website. Orders are subject to the version in force on the date of their confirmation.
